In my dream I am in a grocery store supercenter, kind of like Walmart, with several other people who are part of some kind of group I belong to. Everyone is frantically running around as if they are hiding or running away from something. I'm confused initially as to what's going on, and then suddenly I realized that some people are paired up with a another person that looks exactly like them. A doppelganger. And I get the impression that you are not supposed to be in the same time and place as your doppelganger because several of the pairs look to be in distress. I end up hiding in a strange section of the store that is behind some overstock, and is directly in front of some old seemingly decommissioned fish tanks. (The fish tanks are somewhat of a reoccurring thing in some of my dreams. However, I haven't actually dreamt about them in a long time. Usually they are large tanks that are almost always decommissioned or abandoned or overgrown. Sometimes I can see fish inside them sometimes they're just murky water. For some reason they oftentimes feel associated with my father. He used to have a big fish tanks in a clinic that he worked in as a histologist when I was very young. However, that fish tank was clean well tended too seemingly.) They still have water in them but I never actually see if there's anything swimming inside them. A few other individuals end up hiding there with me. Suddenly, I see my little sister, Amanda, and she is with her doppelganger. But her doppelganger is her child self not her current adult self. They are actually getting along harmoniously. She tells me that not everyone integrates their doppelganger. She says there's a chance that I might be able to get along with my doppelganger as well. Suddenly instead of trying to hide from my doppelganger I start actively looking for her with my sister and her doppelganger. I think that I catch glimpses of my doppelganger periodically throughout the store. My doppelganger also appears to be my child self. Every time I see her she looks angry. Like she has a grimace on her face. Amanda takes note of this too and mentions it. But when she says it I then remind her that when I was younger a lot of people thought I was angry and grimacing when in fact I was trying to smile. For some reason when I would smile for photos and such it would come across much more like a grimace than a smile, but that was never my intention. I just didn't know how to smile properly I guess. We go in the direction that we saw my doppelganger travel. I go down an aisle and it is transformed into a stairwell from a long time ago and I see my child doppelganger playing on the stairs scooting down them on her behind like a slide and I decide that I am going to catch her at the bottom of the stairs. I do so, and at first she is scared and looks a little angry, but then I reassure her that everything is okay and she agrees to come with me. It felt very much like an opportunity to heal my inner child. My sister and I walk through the store along with our doppelgangers and observe the other people who are either running from themselves or finding themselves. I see a random man just sitting on a stool in one of the aisles observing everything and ask if he is with the group and he says no. Later, I end up getting messages from him where he is just like harassing me and trying to get me to go out with him and I am ignoring him and he's sending message after a message saying rude or outlandish things just trying to get me to react in some way. I never respond to him.
